Die ADK presents Hermann Schercher´s Nullstrahler
featuring Carla Boregas and Zero Beam
The Studio for Electroacoustic Music presents a double bill of performances by Carla Boregas and Zero Beam.
Carla Boregas is a Brazilian musician, composer and sound artist. By merging synthetic and acoustic instrumentation and techniques, Boregas builds up sonic scenarios where the sensation of presence and discovery lies between density and delicacy. At Superbooth, she will present a piece employing Akademie der Künstes Studios für Elektroakustische Musik's processor/sampler Publison DHM89B2 with its FB2000 keyboard, tape machine and synthesizers.
Zero Beam are Malte Giesen and Andrei Cucu whose improvisation for turntable, modular synth, laptop and rotating speaker weaves found spoken word passages together with DSP-core laptop magic, diffusing it through the utopian perfect mono source, the Nullstrahler.
